Happy New Year everyone!! Can you believe that it's already 2014? I can already imagine all the days up ahead where I'll end up writing 2013 instead of 2014. So does everyone have a resolution for the new year or are some of you opting out? I was thinking about doing the latter, but eventually I came up with a resolution that's going to be hard to finish, which matches what I usually do since I have never kept a resolution before. Ever. Last year my resolution was to was to never consume any sort of junk food. I failed in 3 days. This year, I've altered it to: only eat 1 junk food (whatever that means) a day. I'm surviving so far, but how long will I last? I have no idea...I'll tell you when I find out though:) So last year I started my blog in July, redid the entire thing in November and deleted all my past posts (I'm an idiot), and started anew. Then I took a little break in between the two months to attempt studying more, and while I'm back, I'm hoping this year I can manage to both blog and study without killing my grades and myself. Unfortunately, that means less reviews and blog features. If all goes well though, I'll be back to full-out blogging by next school year at the latest. I honestly cannot wait.
Now, before I get to the free book stuff, I want to attract some attention to a blog one of my besties made in November. It may look average at first, but it's when you start reading the reviews and the events that the real magic happens. I can't guarantee that every single person is going to love it, but I'm definitely hoping some of you will! I do, and I'm a very picky blog reader, if you haven't noticed yet. If you'd like to check out her blog, please click here.
Okay, everyone, it's free book time! First is the more boring free book part. I just wanted to point out some free books that can be found on Amazon (and most likely the Apple iBook Store) today. Here they are. Just click on the covers and you'll be directed to the Amazon site.
Now is the more fun part of free book time. So because everyone reading this has successfully survived 2013, I feel that you all deserve to get rewarded. Now, most people have giveaways to rock the beginning of the year, but I think we all know that I'm not most people. I always feel bad that so many people enter giveaways but only a few win, and so this is what I'm doing to celebrate New Year's:
Anyone who wants either an ebook copy of one of the two books below can either email me at keepersbookreviews@gmail.com or post a comment stating their email and which book they'd like. As long as you email or comment before 12:00 A.M. tomorrow (meaning you have until Thursday midnight), you will receive the book in your inbox as soon as I read the email/comment. Also, specify whether you want .epub format or .mobi format. The former is for Apple devices and similar things, while the latter is for Kindle only. Here are the two books you can choose from; click the covers for the Goodreads.
- These Broken Stars: I chose this as one of the books because 1) the cover is gorgeous, 2) this novel is one of the most unique and original I've ever read, 3) the cover is gorgeous, 4) it didn't come out too long ago, and 4) the cover is gorgeous.
- Racing Savannah: This is one of the options because besides the fact that the cover is pretty, sometimes you just need to read something that's just romance and nothing else. No need to learn about an entire new world or anything, just enjoy the moment and of course, the guy;) I've never read this book, but Giselle from Xpresso Reads gave it 4 stars!
Remember, you only have a bit more than 24 hours left, so choose wisely and quickly!
